The 15th European Cup 10000m in Oslo on 4 June, at the famous Bislett Stadium, proved to be attractive as a total of 59 men and 55 women were entered during the preliminary entries.

European’s top long distance runners will be seeded into two separate races and in addition to the individual honours, there are also the team gold medals at stake with France and Portugal being the defending men’s and women’s champions having taken the titles in Marseille last year.
